A lot of my outfits this week were inspired by summer and the beach. I am getting so excited for summer break, 4 more weeks!

Here is one outfit that I wore on Monday. I took pictures of another outfit, but they didn't turn out that good. Next to my photo, I have my inspiration.

It was "beach day" at my school this past Monday, since it is spirit week. I recently bought this cropped jacket from and this puka shell necklace (which changes to the color blue in the sun!), and I thought it would perfect for a beach themed day. The shorts are definitely my new favorite thing in my wardrobe. They are like the summer version of my ultra destroyed Wet Seal jeans.

One of my favorite trends this spring is tie dye. You can either make it look surfer girl with a cute swimsuits and sporty neon watches or make it tribal with a fringe necklace and gladiators. Along with the pictures from spring 2010 runways, I also added couple of affordable pieces you can buy to get the look.

beauty tricks

I have been really getting into experimenting with beauty and hair. I have a whole box of makeup and hair ideas that I have ripped out from Seventeen and Teen Vogue magazine now. Here are some pics of my favorite makeup and hair-dos I created! Oh, since we are on the subject of hair, I am looking for a non-expensive, but good quailty curling iron, any suggestions?

A lot of people ask if I crimped my hair when it is all wavy like this, but actually what I do is put 5 braids in my hair and sleep on it. When I wake up I take out the braids and wa-la, there are waves!

This is another way I curl my hair, I call is pincurling. I take a one inch section of my hair, twist it, put it in a mini bun, and then bobby pin it.

Okay, so I didn't paint my nails this color, a makeup artist at one of my photoshoots did. Nonetheless, I thought they were cool so I decided to show them to you. (yes, I am listening to Justin Bieber....)

four day week

I haven't done my "week of outfits" post in awhile, so here it is are! So happy it was only a four day school week! I have tons of stuff planned over the three day weekend. Working on a fun school project Friday, runway workshop and possibly shopping Saturday, and Sunday is easter, plus I have a photoshoot.
