Sunday Rain Brings Outfits

Thank goodness! I have climbed out of my fashion rut. Today I just made dozens of outfits. Right when I thought I was out of ideas, I spotted a piece in my closet and thought of a brilliant idea. Here are 3 of my outfits. My camera died on me when I was taking pictures of the others.

Gerard Butler vs McDreamy vs Chace Crawford for Versace

So you know that guy, that I met at Comic Con? Well in case you don't, his name is Gerard Butler. I have just found out he might be replacing boring old McDreamy as spokesmodel for Versace men's wear. Also, Chace Crawford has a chance as being a spokesmodel too. Now you tell me, Patrick Dempsey (bottom left...) or Chace Crawford (bottom right) or GERARD BUTLER (top photo with him in a Gap ad!).
I hope I succeeded in not being too biased with the pictures I selected! (haha just kidding)

This Year's Model

A must read for me is the book This Year's Model by the model Carol Alt. Since I am aspiring to be a model I need to read this. It is about how the modeling industry is not the glamorous as you think it is. The struggles and pressure you have to go through. Although, this does sound like a cliche book about how modeling is pressuring and blah, blah, blah, I still want to see what a real model thinks about the fashion industry. Here is a summary about the book I found on hapercollins.com:

This seems like a must read to me! I am going to pick it up at B and N when I have a little extra money.

Oh and are you an aspiring model too? If you are between the ages of 16-25 Carol Alt is looking for a model to put on her upcoming book "Next Year's Model" and she is holding a contest. Unfortunately, I can't enter because I am too young.

Ok so I have a lot of money from my birthday. I am going to spend it all on clothes. Here is my wish list of stuff I want. Just random wants and needs! Sorry about the slacking off on posts. I've been kind of busy.

Harajuku Lovers

Oh I just love the products Gwen Stefani makes. Not really the clothes, but the fragrance. Sadly, I have not even smelled the perfume, but stare in awe at the cute little bottles. While staring at these containers dreaming about how adorable they would be on my dresser, I look up and see the advertisement for them. This I love too.


I wish I could do my makeup like this. But my mom doesn't want me to because the only blush I have like that has talc in it. Supposedly talc like causes cancer or something. Maybe I can just sneak it in using it like once though. Hm...and I do have lipstick like that. AND I can put my hair up in like two side buns. Ooo project. See you later I am going to experiment!

Like a Boy.

I was in a very tomboy-ish mood yesterday, so I got inspiration from this little boy in the picture above. I wore my new boy-ish shorts, a tee, plaid fannel button shirt, vans with socks, and a chain necklace. So the whole day I told everyone my tomboy name is Speed. Don't ask me how I came up with it. So yeah I kind of looked like Caira in the music video 'Like a Boy'.

A good old stay at home all day Sunday. Since I was bored (as usual) I decided to try on a bunch of outfits! Here is the one I am wearing tomorrow and another one that I am planning on wearing when it gets cooler.

Well, I just got back into the swing of fashion, I kind of got off track for a few days. It was kind of funny because I got the new Vogue on Wednesday. So when I got home I got into a fight with my mom, something petty as usual, so she told me I can't look at my Vogue anymore. So I am like big deal. Haha. Then for the rest of the week I had a 'fashion block'. But since I was bored out of my mind today, I grabbed it and started flipping through it and I had a fashion break through xD I had some many ideas for outfits all of the sudden. I never knew I was so dependent on them! Lol Here are the outfits:

Yeah this is the one I am wearing in like September when it gets cooler. Sorry for the messy room! I got the inspiration from the picture below. Doesn't it look pretty similar?

And my second outfit. I am wearing this tomorrow. Kind of hard to see, but I am wearing boy-ish black shorts.
