Here is the dress and shirt I bought this weekend. I also bought a basic pink v neck from hollister, just to wear during summer and to layer with. Hehehe and there is my chihuahua again!
Spring is coming soon! Although I already made and showed you another spring shopping list, this one in is the official one. I am so excited for spring/summer break, so I can soak up the sun and relax. Right now, I am in great need of spring clothing. Here is my wishlist on stuff I am planning on buying. Well hopefully buying since I just added up what the approximate cost would be for all this and is came out to $370....so.....yeah maybe just like half of the stuff for now. What are on your wishlists?
I watched the Presidential Inauguration at school today. While everyone was twiddling their thumbs and yawning during President Barack Obama's speech, I was captivated. I thought his speech was inspiring and uplifting. I liked his whole "hope over fear" Here is his speech in case you want to here it again or you did not have a chance to watch it:
But being the fashion person I am, I was noticing the outfits Obama's wife and kids were wearing. What did you think of them?
Obama was looking extra dapper in his tux, tie and his purple scarf. But as for Michelle, I was not a big fan of her yellow coat and dress. Maybe if she coat was shorter than the dress, it wouldn't have look so....lemony....Hopefully she makes a comeback with a beautiful dress for the Inaugural Ball.
Also, I thought his daughters Sasha and Malia Obama looked adorable. They looked like they stepped out of a Vogue, but kid style.
I probably won't be posting everyday from now on because school is starting and I need to focus on that. But no worries! I will be sure to post at least once a week.
Before I leave I just wanted to show you these wonderful runways by Isabel Marant. I love all of the ruffles, the plaid and patterns, and the spring boots. Wow I have been really getting into the spring clothing spirit lately!
I went on a day trip today to a town about 2 hours away from where I live. I had so much fun. It was nice and warm, so I got to wear the outfit I have in the previous post. The whole time though, I was longing to ride my bike there, but I guess walking was good enough. We took TONS of photographs too. Enojy them all!
I got inspired to make this outfit from one of Leighton Meester's outfit that is shown below.
The shirt I am wearing is actually a dress. I didn't really like it as a dress, so I never wore it for like a year. I pulled it back out of my closet and started experimenting.
God I love my new high waisted skirt. I am trying not to wear it too much. That is why I am saving this outfit to wear in another few weeks.
