Summer '09
While we are on the topic of summer break, did I mention that I can hardly wait? Probably did, but seriously I have tons of ideas to fill up those summer days when I am bored out of my mind. I want to make this the best summer ever. Ideas include taking photos, having a movie marathon week, shopping, flipping through magazines all day, cooking exotic food, traveling around my state, or possibly making a vlog to put on here. My list is endless though. I mostly just want to kick back, hang with friends, and do a little traveling. What are your plans for the summer?

Trend Alert: 30s Fashion
Another trend alert!
What I have noticed lately is that the style from 1930s is coming back. I am very excited about this because I love the style from this era, since I love the farmer-girl look. Here are a few pictures from different places showing the 30s fashion. What do you think of this style?

50s Cowgirl

I was on www.gypsyville.com and got immediately inspired by this picture I found on their website. So then I went through my mom's closet, pulled out her vintage dress and leather belt. Although I would probably never wear this out in public, I just love it. I love the idea of a frilly dress paired with cowgirl accessories and items.

Time for SPRING INSPIRATIONS!
Now that spring is finally here and the heat has set in (90 degrees today!), I decided I am going to post inspirations for spring. I am in love with florals, nautical, nature, cool hairstyles, the cowgirl look, and patterns for spring.
By the way, sorry about the delay of posting. I have been very busy. But look out, a new outfit post is coming soon!

Dance Outfits
The end of the year dance is coming up at my school and I need to find an outfit for it really soon. The dance is like prom, but less fancy and extravagant. Which outfit idea do you like better? Keep in mind that I am not copying these exact outfits, I am going to use the idea and replace it with cheaper clothes.
#1

The idea: poofy dress with a blazer. Hair clip, pastel shoes, and bright makeup. (don't worry, I won't have this much silkiness in my outfit)
#2

The idea: Poofy dress with tee over it. Bangles, bright makeup, and pastel shoes.
#3

The idea: Frilly dress, cropped motorcycle jacket, chain bracelet. Booties with socks scrunched down.
Tell me your opinion. =D
