I am going to start adding a few nautical pieces to my wardrobe this summer. I absolutely love this look, but I don't have anything to go with this style. So I am going to start looking for sailor-like pieces such as a few anchor necklaces, stripes, and dark denim. I might even purchase this horse-back riding hat I saw at an antique mall recently, (its exactly like the one shown below) even though I probably wouldn't wear it in public. Here are pictures from my fashion journal and pictures I found online of the nautical style.
Although I am not the best drawer and not your typical sketcher, but here are some more of my sketches! These feature outfit ideas for the spring, along with a list of places where I can possibly buy pieces like the ones I drew. Sorry about the last one being sideways, something funny happens to it when I make it sit the right way. Suggestions to make my sketches better without recking my style of drawing? I am thinking just practice on drawing people better.....
Yesterday I went throught my sister's closet and found tons of fun stuff. Since she is in college, I can pretty much go through her clothes whenever I need something. I found the dress, vest, and boots in her closet. So, if my sister is reading this, thanks!!
I got inspired to create this outfit with these 3 pieces, from...you guessed it...free people. (picture shown on left).
I went down to a little area in my city yesterday and took a few pictures, just for fun. One of the outfits I had one was inspired by a w/o ad. Then I changed into a different outfit. I got inspiration for the outfit from a coach ad (shown below, sorry the picture is blurry). Outfit #1: I was in front of a grocery store in that area
Whoo three day weekend! I am hoping to catch up with my blog posting with this long break. So sorry about the lack of posts.
Anyways, last night I went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic with my friends. This movie was poorly acted and kind of stupid, but I loved it. Her outfits are gorgeous. Did anyone else see that movie? Here are pictures of some of my favorite outfits she wore. I highly recommend you see it if you like clothes.
Spring is coming soon! Although I already made and showed you another spring shopping list, this one in is the official one. I am so excited for spring/summer break, so I can soak up the sun and relax. Right now, I am in great need of spring clothing. Here is my wishlist on stuff I am planning on buying. Well hopefully buying since I just added up what the approximate cost would be for all this and is came out to $370....so.....yeah maybe just like half of the stuff for now. What are on your wishlists?
